An Bill seems to be in talks about starring in a new film, Weekend, written by Hanif Kureishi, directed by Roger Michell and produced by Kevin Loader – the trio behind the movies The Mother and Venus.

Bill Nighy and Lindsay Duncan would play a couple whose marriage comes under intense focus when they travel abroad, possibly to Paris, for a weekend.
