Easter 2016 was part of a 6 part Play for Tomorrow season on BBC1 produced by BBC Northern Ireland and broadcasted in 1982. The plays had a supposed prophetic nature.

Plot for Easter 2016:
Set in 2016 prior to the centennial of the Easter Rising at Northern Ireland’s only integrated teacher training college. A struggle develops between the principal and the security director who values security more than education.

Also starring Kenneth Branagh and Colm Meaney.
