With the official European premiere in Berlin yesterday and the London premiere today, Valkyrie is about to hit the cinemas in Europe.
STV has interviewed Bill Nighy and Eddie Izzard about Valkyrie (video).

And a bit more news about 1939 the Stephen Poliakoff film Bill will be starring in: it is set to be released in the cinema in 2009, which makes 2009 a very Nighy year with six Bill Nighy films lined up.

The first posters for the new Richard Curtis directed The Boat That Rocked are now available.
To call them “groovy” would be the understatement of the year.

The first official trailer for the upcoming Underworld prequel is now available. And it contains a lot of Bill with fangs and contacts as Viktor, the Vampire King.

The film will be shot in north Norfolk.
Not much is known but:
The feature-length thriller, which stars Bill Nighy and Dame Maggie Smith, explores the issue of class at the on-set of the second world war and the sinister, behind the scenes dealings of the era’s politicians. The film is set in the 30’s.

The community channel has run a theme week about Disabilty showing programs and films related to this subject. They have also shown Coping Strategies in which Bill makes a brief appearance.
