Glorious 39

Bill will attend the Toronto International Film Festival in September to promote Glorious 39, the new Stephen Poliakoff film in which Bill stars.

“It’s a conspiracy thriller with Romola Garai, Juno Temple, Julie Christie and David Tennant — an incredible cast,” said Nighy, “I know it’s going to be premiered at the film festival, and people are very, very pleased with it.”

Charles Paris – A Series of Murder Audiobook now available on CD

Charles Paris is thrilled – he’s landed a nice juicy part playing Sergeant Collins in the TV detective series, “The Stanislaus Braid Mysteries”, and his estranged wife Frances seems to be on the brink of taking him back. But filming turns out to be a tortuous process, with pompous star Russell Bentley demanding numerous retakes and irascible author Winifred Railton constantly interrupting. To cap it all, nubile actress Lisa Stokes is crushed to death on set – and Charles finds her body. It seems like a straightforward accident, but Charles can’t shake the suspicion that she was murdered. Can he find the killer, stay away from the booze and the women, and win back his wife? Bill Nighy stars as alcoholic actor and amateur sleuth Charles Paris in this full-cast radio dramatisation.

Pirates 4 with Davy Jones

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer is already working on getting cast and crew together for Pirates 4. Johnny Depp has been confirmed, and the question is if there will be a return for Davy Jones too.

Bill would be keen: “If the call comes, I’m there like a shot,” he promised. “’Pirates’ was one of the great things to happen to me in my career. I would be happy to be in it.”
