Bill is cutting the cake – but what is he thinking?
Bill has attended the famous Chelsea Flower show in London recently and had the honor of cutting the 40th birthday cake for David Austin English Roses. David Austin Roses decided that Bill’s Mona Lisa smile was worthy of a caption competition.

Bill is also rumoured to star in a new music-based comedy called Bono’s Doppelganger. Charlie Cox, Romola Garai and Pete Postlethwaite will also star. (Source)

An Bill seems to be in talks about starring in a new film, Weekend, written by Hanif Kureishi, directed by Roger Michell and produced by Kevin Loader – the trio behind the movies The Mother and Venus.
Bill Nighy and Lindsay Duncan would play a couple whose marriage comes under intense focus when they travel abroad, possibly to Paris, for a weekend. Roger Michell plans to direct the movie next year once he has completed his current assignment Morning Glory, which stars Harrison Ford and Rachel McAdams. (Source)

I know I can’t enter te competition, but how about this one:
“How did Alan Titchmarsh talk me into this, again?”
“What’s this? This cake is made out of plaster. I’m not able to cut it. Well, just keep smiling!”
“What’s that, Alan?”
…
“No, no, I’m just holding the knife, so no one get’s hurt.”
…
“Okay.”
(That was close, but I think I got away with it!)
“Perfect. Everybody is looking at Alan. I’m going to cut off a niece piece of chocolate cake and leg it. Must watch out for falling rose petals or otherwise they’ll be able to track me down.”
