Radio: Bill Nighy in Cigarettes And Chocolate
BBC Radio is going to pay tribute to Anthony Minghella, the extraordinary writer/director who unfortuntely passed away recently at a too young an age.
BBC will broadcast some of Anthony Minghella’s radioplays and there are a lot of goodies to be expected not only for Nighy fans.
Saturday 3 May at 2.30pm
Radio 4 broadcasts Anthony Minghella’s original play for radio: Cigarettes And Chocolate. The Giles Cooper Award-winning production stars Juliet Stevenson and Bill Nighy and was first broadcast nearly 20 years ago. It tells the story of Gemma, her unexplained silence and refusal to speak and how her circle of friends and lovers react.
Don’t miss it.
If you are interested in Anthony Minghella, his work, and his way of working, read on here, and tune in.

Well don't worry some of the dullest people in the world are in this room. They are gold medalists in the boredom olympics. Anything you say will be more interesting than anything they have ever said.
Bill will read Dracula!
Does anyone could record it for me ?
Because my internet access is weak and i have to wait at least 2 weeks to get it back as it used to be.
i’d be greatful.
