Do the doodle. Bill Nighy did!

Bill Nighy doodle 2008 (used with permission of NDD)
It’s doodle time again, The National Doodle day is coming up and celebrities have been doodling like crazy. Bill Nighy contributed with another one of his masterpieces too.
There is much more Doodle reading on the National Doodle Day website
You can vote for Bill’s doodle there (with your mobile phone, and only if you live in the UK) . Or watch other celeb’s doodles, which, of course, aren’t as classy as Bill’s but hey.
And from the 7th of March, all celebrity doodles will be auctioned on eBay, so keep a weather eye on the horizon for that, if you want to own an original Bill Nighy masterpiece.
And, actually, you can send your own doodle to National Doodle Day and have a chance of seeing your doodle in the 2008 Hall of Fame.
If you live in the UK you can go into you local Lloyds Pharmacy and buy cards on which to doodle your, ehrm, doodle. By buying those cards you’ll donate £1 to National Doodle day.
You can also draw on your own piece of paper and send it in by post with a check.
Read all about participating here.!
What? You don’t know what to draw?
It’s easy! You can draw a squid. Or a vampire! How about a zombie? A rock ‘n roller perhaps? Pick up a pen and start doodling!
National Doodle Day is wholly owned by The Neurofibromatosis Association, a registered charity in England (No 1078790), and Epilepsy Action, a working name of British Epilepsy Association, a registered charity in England (No 234343). All monies raised by National Doodle Day will support the work of the two charities.

You want to rub your shoulders with a royal, don't you
Bill will read Dracula!
I am crushed that I can’t vote for Bill’s doodle! :( I would love to have Bill’s drawings analysed…he likes to use certain shapes and colors. The “sun” with the ring around it, or maybe it’s Saturn…and he likes to group things by threes. The lines gradually getting smaller are a theme of his too. Interesting!
Yes I am sorry about that too, seeing as he seems to have a lot of world wide fans! I don’t think people from outside the UK can submit their doodles either!
Not good!
And about Saturn or the sun or the moon with a ring around it - he still is a planet designer, obviously ;-)
People from outside the UK can take part in National Doodle Day, just download your doodle form from the website and send it in with your £1 (or $2?) donation. And of course anyone, anywhere in the world can bid on the doodles in the eBay auction.
Happy doodling!
