BBC Radio2 will broadcast bits of Bill Nighy reading Eric Clapton: The Autobiography. The first part of Bill reading the book will be send on:

Friday the 5th of October at 9.15 pm-9.30 pm (GMT). It is part 1 of 6, so there is more to come on the 5 following Fridays.

Tune in and Rock out.

    Bill’s reading coupled with musical background was a superb presentation by the BBC. The CD set, however, will not have the musical interludes — sad to say… But don’t let that small detail discourage you. Listening to Bill read Eric Clapton’s life story in 6 hours is definitely a treat not to be missed.

    You are right, it was a great production from the BBC. And it really is a shame that the full autobiography is not made like this. But yeah - he reads it like a rock star, brilliantly.
