Here is your chance: What do you want Bill Nighy to read next for Silksoundbooks?

Silksoundbooks, Bill Nighy’s silk sounding voicilicious book reading project has just held their official launch party in Soho, London.
Bill gave a short speech expressing gratitude to the host of fellow readers who attended, for helping to begin the process of building this great library of cassic literature. He particularly mentioned the quality of the recordings and said how proud he was to be part of Silksoundbooks.
Bill will soon enter the studios again to read his next book, but … they haven’t decided what book yet! And that’s where all of you Bill Nighy fans come in.
Silksoundbooks has asked for advice from all Bill Nighy fans out there: What book do we want to hear Bill read next?
So we need your help. Send in the titles of your favourite classics, we will then compile a voting list and create a poll so everybody can cast their vote on their favourite books.
There is no 100% guarantee that the winning book is going to be read by Bill, but the more votes the winning book gets, the bigger the chance that it will. Silksoundbooks is seriously requesting your input!
From all the emails with book suggestions, a lucky winner will be drawn and he or she will get the new Bill Nighy read silksounding book for free.
So please send in your book suggestions!
Here are some practical rules:
- The authors of the books you pick will have to be deceased for 75 years or more. So please pick some classics! (this list might help you)
- Pick minimum 1 and maximum 3 titles.
- Check that the titles you pick aren’t on the silksoundbooks list already
- Send in your suggestions through the form here and remember to put the following in your mail:
- minimum 1 and maximum 3 book titles
- your first and last name
- your city and country
- your e-mail address
The last day to send in your suggestion(s) is the 4th of August 2007. And please spread the word!
