Bill Nighy in the magazines
Harper’s Bazaar has a nice interview with and even nicer pictures of Bill Nighy in May’s edition.
Here is a Nighy classic from that interview:
“I’m not famous for holiday-making. I don’t really understand it,” he says. “Apparently, it is now compulsory to wear shorts – and yet there are only three people in the world who should wear them and I’m not sure who they are.”
(More Billicious quotes (not from that article) here)
GQ (the home of cool stuff) has a feature on Brits in Hollywood. Clearly Bill Nighy is one of them. (find a scan of his picture here)
And a final observation : Bill is voicing Nat Wests TV commercials currently rolling over your TV screen, when in the UK. Watching commercials suddenly becomes more interesting.

I'm not saying I was so fucking fabulous, but I was here.
Bill will read Dracula!
When I first saw the GQ pic, I thought that Bill had been arrested! Will someone please inform photographers that they are not allowed to take his picture with B&W film anymore? The Harpers pics are absolutely GORGEOUS and the interview is one of the best I have read in a while. YAY!
Well it is a bit of a grungy picture (slightly unsharp too if you ask me) , but in the magazine it looks kind of cool as Bill is facing Jason Statham (another British actor) who is also featured on a fullpage B&W picture and those 2 cool men kind of try to compete in who looks the coolest.
Which is a clear win for Bill, of course.
That makes sense…and now that I have seen the magazine in person I think that is what they were going for. Still, the photo could have been a bit clearer? It’s like Will Rushmore took that photo, lol!
Bill definitely wins the battle of coolness, hands down. Sorry Jason.
