Bill Nighy in Vanity Fair
This month’s Vanity Fair has an extra film noir feature with 14 fantastic photo’s taken by acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
The 14 photo’s all feature top actors, from Robert the Niro to Jack Nicholson, Edward Norton, Peter O’Toole, Sylvester Stalone, Bruce Willis, Julliane Moore, Judi Dench, Helen Mirren, and of course Bill Nighy.
Bill Nighy’s shot is taken on the Trinity Cemetery in New York, and Bill is featured as preacher Abelard, a very sharply dressed (as always) man in black, with a black hat and an umbrella. On his picture you also find Rinko Kikuchi (Babel), Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), Penelope Cruz (Volver) and Ben Affleck.
Bill’s picture makes you wonder why they didn’t cast him for The Godfather.
You can see a video montage of the pictures here:

Some other short news:
Unfortunately The Vertical Hour has limited it’s run, and will now end on the 11th of March. Don’t miss it if you haven’t seen it yet.
And Bill has also been confirmed for a 3rd season of Meerkat Manor, the Meerkat soap produced by Animal Planet.
Hot Fuzz has had it’s premiere in the UK, and even though it really is a cameo appearance from Bill (about 1 minute totally) the film is a must see if you liked Shaun of the Dead.

You owe me your sssoul ...
Bill will read Dracula!
Awwww! That’s great, Penelope Cruz on the same picture with Bill! *__*
Know of Abelard and Heloise? Quite a tale….
