More Bill Nighy, more Davy Jones
Industrial Light & magic has a beautiful interactive site about the CGI magic behind Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead Man’s Chest.
There is a lot of background information about how they turned a handsome actor (Bill Nighy) into a handsome Squid : Davy Jones. Watch the video clips, download wallpapers, eat your pirate heart out on their site.
Notes on a Scandal did get several Bafta nominations, but unfortunately no Best Supporting Actor for Bill Nighy as Richard Hart. Ahrrrrr….

I'm not fifty. I'M NOT FIFTY!
Bill will read Dracula!

OMG!! That website is sooooooooo kool!! i’ll have to get one of those models of Davy Jones some how.. He is sooooooooo cute and Bill Nighy makes him even cuter!!!
I just saw “Notes on a Scandal” last week, and the cast is brilliant — it’s perfect to have Nighy’s character opposite the personalities of the film’s lead women (he’s more likeable). While watching the film I could have sworn Bill was in the “Pirates” film. Although it’s more of a young person’s film, and I’m middle-aged, I loved it. Yes, it seems like it’s often the big, glitzy, blockbusters that gets actors noticed in markets outside of their usual ones. Anyway, kudos to Bill in his great performances (I’d also seen “love, actually” when it was released) in the above-mentioned films.
