Bill Nighy on BBC7 in Medical Detectives

Bill Nighy is listed on the Bafta longlist for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Notes on a Scandal. This longlist has 15 names for every category, which will be brought back to 5 names before the BAFTA’s really take off.

Notes on a Scandal is nominated in the best film category too.

See the whole long list here.

BBC7 (radio) is repeating the 4 episodes of Medical Detectives with Bill Nighy and Nicky Henson. Tune in on your digital radio from Monday until Thursday at 1 pm and 5am. Or use their excellent listen again feature, and hear the programs up to 6 days after they have been broadcast.

And on BBC4 (Afternoon play) you can hear : All Fingers and Thumbs

Romantic comedy from 2004 by Alan Stafford. Sign language interpreter Marie wants more deaf people to enjoy the theatre. So does director Tom (Bill Nighy) - but not if it involves a bothersome spot-lit woman waving her arms about on his stage.

You can find it on Listen Again until Tuesday.
