Spike and Whitey watching over Regent Street

A part of the (voice) cast from Flushed Away showed up in London yesterday to switch on the Christmas lights in Regent Street. Sir Ian McKellen (the Toad), Andy Serkis (Spike) and Shane Richie (Sid) wished the crowd a Merry Christmas and pushed the button to reveal the light theme for this year : characters from Flushed Away. Bill Nighy wasn’t present (currently busy rehearsing for the Vertical Hour in New York, previews start tomorrow) but Whitey, Bill’s character is prominently lighting up Regent Street.
