This charming man
Bill Nighy turned up at Premiere magazine’s Women in Hollywood Icon awards earlier this week. While this ball got visited by a lot of A-list actresses, Bill managed to sneak in as a special guest of Dame Judi Dench.
Here Bill Nighy also more or less confirmed Keith Richards’ appearance on the set of POTC, though Bill wasn’t on set while Keith Richards made his cameo appearance.
Both Bill, Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett (who got presented an award from judi Dench) star in Notes on a Scandal. The release date for this film is a bit unknown, Empire magazine says December 2006, IMDB says February 2007.

You've been making us all look bad
Bill will read Dracula!

It is absolutely KILLING me knowing he is in town! It’s really odd, there is an air of “classiness” floating about instead of the usual smog and grime *sigh*
Sounds like it was a stellar evening in star-filled Hollywood. Among all the glorious women, my two favorite male actors: Bill (bien sur) and Edward Norton.
Another reason I find Bill N. so very attractive: He clearly really likes women. I mean, as friends, mentors, etc. You can see this when you read what women have to say about him: Miranda Richardson’s “complex and sympatico” description comes first to mind, but Judi Dench has been close to him for years and Alicia Silverstone discovered his whimsical charm during “Stormbreaker.”
He’s a nice guy. I’d want him in the group if shipwrecked on a desert island….
Eeh eeh, Susan! I like the idea of the desert island.. what if we suggested a new version of “Lost”? XD
BTW, I think it’s great when a man makes women around him feel at ease. And Bill is a fabulous gentleman of course.
I agree, Nat. He’s more attractive than Sawyer and savvier (-yer?) than Jack. Oh yeah. Too bad Bill hates tropical weather — we’d probably have to ditch Hawaii in favor of the Isle of Man.
