Bill Nighy is doing a brand new billicious radio play on BBC Radio 4, and will return as alcoholic actor-cum-amateur sleuth Charles Paris, from the series of hit novels by Simon Brett.
Charles is his own worst enemy, a louche lush who can resist anything except temptation – especially in the form of women and alcohol.

I heard it this morning. Another deliciously generous role for our Bill on the radio! I love hearing him as the lead. And he’s brilliant as Charles Paris. A definite “must hear” for Bill fans.
Heard it today (at last!), and he is billicious in it. Love to hear him singing too by the way. And – funky music !

You are right, Radio 4. Uhm, plans for more, I don\’t really know. BBC7 is once in a while sending older Charles Parish plays though, Bill Nighy is in them too.
