If I’m honest (and I know I’ll get battered for saying this) Johnny Depp’s hammy overacting spoilt the first ‘Pirates’ film for me, but with Bill Nighy’s performance as the devilish Davy Jones appearing to be worth the price of admission alone this time around, it looks like this one is shaping up rather nicely.
