After praise from nearly all critics Bill Nighy is now also nominated for a British Independent Film Award as Best Supporting Actor for his role as Sir Bernard Pelligrin in The Constant Gardener.
The Constant Gardener is nominated for no less than 7 awards, and is also nominated as Best British Film. Ralph Fiennes is nominated as Best Actor, Rachel Weisz as Best Actress, Fernando Meirelles as Best Director, Jeffrey Caine for Best Screenplay, and César Charlone – Cinematography for Best Technical Achievement.
The 8th Annual BRITISH INDEPENDENT FILM AWARDS is to be held on Wednesday 30 November at Hammersmith Palais, London W6.
