Both Holland, Denmark and Germany are broadcasting Meerkat Manor from the 19th of september – at 19.00 pm.
The Meerkats have gotten names like Flower, Zaphod (!), Shakespeare, Youssarian, Tosca and Mitch.
As you all know, Bill Nighy is narrating this soap, and one could suspect him for making up some of those names too.
Check your local Animal Planet site for more specific broadcasting times.

i thouht Meerkat manor was really good it was very exciting and i would like to know how the Whiskers and Tosca are getting on and if they ever found Shakesperes body.

Did you see all 13 episodes ? Or did something happen again to Shakespeare (after his snakebite) ?
I just love the Manor! :) One of the most exciting and unusual “series” AP has shown to us! I hope Sheakspeare will be all right, he just deservs it after all his courageous events. And all babies will be safe even if Flower is not so happy.
I just can’t understand when a new episode is shown… I watched about babies brought out to the surface yesterday, and today it is again in day episode…:( I guess, late in the night, which is 9 p. m. here for me. Well, THANKS anyway, Animal Planet and Bill Nighy!!! :D
I have no info for you on shakespear, cambridge university and animal planet havn’t emailed me back on his fate yet -.-
I Found It really upsetting when I found out Shakespear may be dead he was the best meercat the whiskers have or had please can you tell me his fate. He is a BRAVE meercat and never gambles his life unless he had to like in the show where he put a fight up against his arch rival. good work all round for the cambridge university im hooked to the program. Thank you for the look into other nature animals.

I have just e-mailed them again and put in this websites URL so that they (Animal Planet) can see the amount of interest that their programme has generated. I have also asked them to be honest about Shakey – if he did indeed die at the hands of the Lazuli I am sure that we would all rather know, it is the not knowing that is the difficult bit.

Just found this page it is about a lady that went to the Kalahari project, there a piccies of the “Whiskers mob” and even the lazuli (hiss, boo) :-) and I even have Flower eating a scorpion as my desktop now! Sad I know – but I am a Meerkat fan!

i have just found this page. i am addicted to meerkat manor. however i do miss the odd eposode & find it quite confusing to find the ones i have missed. so that i can catch up.
anybody know if there is any chance of a d.v.d coming out?
is there any merchandise to buy regarding flower & her family,? it would solve my xmas shopping list as . what did happen to shakespearafter the snakebit?is he ok?
